Sorry you’re feeling moody. Spring is right around the corner, but taking its sweet time it seems! Hugs

Mrs B and I took a nice walk yesterday and it was sunny and relatively warm, but we both still had to wear winter hats. I’m so ready to put the hats and gloves AWAY…

I know what you mean. This is my least favorite time with the in between ‘sprinter’ season. The buds are peaking out though and soon everything will be green again!

I know how you feel 🙈 I went into work for the first time in 3 weeks, and will have 1-2 days a week now till Easter. Sitting at home all day every day is really getting me down… spring is coming soon tho, i hope. Good luck!!

Thank you. Sitting around with no plan of action is killing me. Mrs B keeps telling me to get out and I agree, but then I just sit.
Funny thing is, then when I DO have work, like today, I’m grumpy at work too. It makes zero sense.
Here’s to hoping things get better for the both of us…

75 F max here today. Went to the beach yesterday. It was glorious!!!!
In April the range is between 80 and 85 F.

Travelling for work or just working for them AT the hotel?

AccorHotels. They want to do renovations, and they need us to make sure all the techological stuff will still work after that (fibre optics, WIFI, TV, the works…)…we’re going to make a bundle…when I say “we” I mean the company…

I can totally relate to this. I have my finals coming up in May and have only just realised how unprepared I am. Fun stuff. Hope things get better 🙂

How about a good book to cheer you up?

That’s the kicker. I just finished up a Patricia McKillip book this weekend and it was fantastic. 5star. But it’s not enough 😦
I need harder “drugs” 😀

A lack of Vit D makes me severely moody too – He said “Let there be light” for a reason. Hopefully April will bring about more reason to get outside – I need it too!

I think you nailed it. I’m so used to working outside that I don’t even think about vitamin d. So not working and sitting inside for days on end has an even bigger deleterious effect on me.
I googled and cod liver oil is supposed to be really high in vitamin d.
Ok, that is NOT happening….

I think good old fashion UV rays is the way to go on this one 🙂

Isn’t your mood the “can’t wait for spring depression”? You know when March is here and your life is in a sort of blurry line where temperature keeps changing from somhow hot to cold in one day and work is slow but also hectic? I feel you, can’t wait for April!

Thanks. This in-between-time really IS tough 😦

Chin up buttercup🙂. Not too long to go now. I am also eagerly awaiting April. Though, i have had lots of days at work, due to being part of the zoo’s cleaning team…

Yeah, animals keep on pooping, spring, summer, fall and winter, right? 😉
Now I’m humming that song “Build me up, Buttercup”, hahahahaa.

Ugh I hate it when my mood sinks like this. I’m in a bit of a grumpy slump myself with no reading and too much stress off the computer. I hope we both feel better in April!

Aw, fingers crossed for spring to come quickly!
Work has been kinda slow for me as well, but i’m kinda enjoying it after months of total madhouse during winter 😀

When I first read this post a few days ago, I wondered how you could possibly be moody with spring around the corner and life so interesting. Today, I’m with you …… I’m moody too ….. and perhaps grumpy as well, a rarity for me.

Winter is a bit too long indeed. Are your retirement plans in the future calmer than work or do you plan to keep the load just as heavy and start building castles (or doing field surveys for free/fun)? 😀

I have a bad feeling that I’ll be working until diabetes turns me into an invalid. Or I die from diabetes. Pretty cheerful stuff, you know? If I wasn’t so boneheaded I’d probably try to plan ahead more. But sometimes for us that just isn’t an option 🙂
