3 or 4 throw away sentences. That was it.
Gahhh, the hits just keep on coming in. February is turning into one sucky month for book reading.
☆☆☆☆½
Oh no! Well, I hope the next book you pick up is a brilliant one.

Thanks. Sadly, it just isn’t to be 😦 Friday is my next book review and I think it is yet ANOTHER 1 star. *cry*

*pats shoulder in comforting manner* why do authors torture us like this?

Well, even the cover is not very enticing… The month is still young, hopefully you’ll have more luck 🙂

Laugh away. It has been quite some time since I’ve had this many low star books all in a row. I’d forgotten how bad it feels…

Hahaha 😀 Well, i was curious what a half star review looks like.
I must say, it’s fitting! 😀

I only remember reading one book by Nuttall, but I have another on my device. I thought he had a following among the conservative/libertarian (weird that those things are often combined these days) book-reading crowd, so I’m surprised he threw something weird at you.

He’s a big (for an indie) mil-SF guy. I can see libertarians not minding this, considering how hands-off they are, but as a conservative Christian, it’s not something I can have in my entertainment time.

Is it even possible to do a “0” star review? I guess it is!
Ugh! Sounds like a horrible reading month! I’m having fun with The Divine Comedy, Moby Dick and Agatha Christie, so I can’t complain. Hope it gets better for you!

I tend to do 1 or 2 unrated books a year. Usually when it is obvious it is a “me” thing and nothing objectively wrong with a book book. Most of the time though, it really isn’t me, it IS the book 😉

Ouch. I hope the next book is better!

This is the shortest review I ever recall reading, from you or anyone else!
Still, your loathing came through loud and clear…
Better luck with the next book! 🙂

Yeah, I’ve had a few that were shorter, but not by much.

Ouch, a brutally honest review! Hope your next read is good.

Yep, since I write my reviews primarily for myself (so I look back in 10 years and know what I read), I have to be this honest. It’s also good for me to get over being afraid of what others think. Still working on that one though…

Wow, sad to hear that. I’ve liked most of Nuttall’s books to some degree. A lot of them I’ve liked a lot.

I liked what I read a lot too, sadly. There were hints in the first book though, that this subject would rear its head, so honestly I was just waiting for it. Oh well…

Oh no! I’m so sorry you’ve had a string of bad books. Bad Books! Bad! (sorry – amusing myself there) … Here’s hoping March will bring better books. Very soon. 🙂

One right after another. It has felt like one of those giant waves that starts out small and then keeps getting bigger and bigger 😦

Oh man! Do you stand your ground, or curl into a little ball until the worst is past?

Well, considering I’m not reading at all this week and doing nothing but rot my brain on youtube and post star wars book covers, I’m going with the latter 😦

A safe decision! Roll on March, when you can uncurl and look about you and see what survived the wave. 🙂

What the… Hahahahah at least you’re getting rid of these really quickly!

Thing is, it just put the breaks on my desire to read. I just I can recover in time for March…
